current progess…..starting a new exercise

I have just finished my contract at cheerful scout and free till christmas; A nice holiday and a resourceful one at that. Along with the recent animation work i have done in the industry, this is a good opportunity to put together some additional work for my showreel, pumping it up for my next wave of job application at the newyear.
So, i have just put together a scene to complete ASAP. it’s just some basic exercise with the popular norman rig in a gym locker room torsing a football about.

current progress…..end of the 3d modeling contract

My job as a 3d modeler comes to an end today and i will now focus on my character animation job this following monday. I had a very good experience working at holition, and also got a picture of me and the team published in the september 2011 issue of Tatler magazine. which is beyond cool.

current progress….. juggling between two jobs

I did get the other character animation job. Which is beyond cool by the way. I’m now working on a feature film.
Need to buy a new laptop ASAP. I still would like to continue on my personal development. So, at this time next year i will by then move higher in the industry.:)

current progress….. GOT THE JOB!!!

After all the interviews last month, one was bound to succeed. althought this job is for a 3D modelling position, But it’s cool to finally have a full time job. I guess the four years modelling in college and university counted for something in the end.
Anyway i am due to start next thursday, they say they have to arrange me a computer. I still have one more interview tomorrow and this. i’m really looking forward to because it’s a 3d character animation position, for a feature film. imagine that! My hopes are very high on this one, All hopes by this time tomorrow that is all good news. WISH ME LUCK!

Missed entry last month, so many job interviews and job test, which is a good thing any way, i have two more this week and one is for character animation and the other a follow up to the job test which was 3D modeling. This is a sure way to know. i am getting into the industry soon and with this feedback from the employers, i know i am on the right track.

current progress….. Job interview

When i began blogging on this site a year ago. i had to crap 4 years of modelling work i had done during my time at college and university to go back to my original goal to work as a character animator. It was difficult at the time, because i felt let down as i got carried away with modelling but i made a pledge i will get to my goal no matter what, as long as it takes.
Thirteen months later, yesterday i went through my first job interview for character animation position. making yesterday one of my favourite days in recents years. I must admit that i never truelly excepted results this soon. So far, my working procress reel has gotten me far already, now i’m a hundered persent positive i am on the right track. Soon, i will start calling myself a character animator. Excellent!

This a graphic desgin image i made ealier, about my thought of the university i attended. It is also plays a part on my graphics website a created a few days ago for any 2d work or illustrations i may create in the future.
